Issa: A Local Girl from the roots up.

Issa grew up in rural West Virginia at the height of the back-to-the-land farming movement. From living closely with other families, she learned teamwork. From her hippie parents, open-mindedness.

Though Issa probably never expected to work in a busy commercial web studio in the big city, that’s what she did for 17 years. 

As a versatile producer, she did everything from sending files last-minute to meet deadlines to helping paint sets. 

Throughout Issa’s career, personal travels often led to professional contacts. Alongside her extensive American network, traveling in Europe brought her to work closely with an Italian design company, making overseas shoots far easier. 
Recently, Issa has seen a need for an all-in-one production company that truly gets to know its clients and teams. It was from that need that Local Girl Productions was born. 

Through this new venture, Issa hopes to form more long-term relationships with clients and creatives, with people leaving a Local Girls shoot already thinking about the next one.
