Local Girls—Anywhere.
“Working as a local” is a film industry term. Young workers cover their travel and living costs and temporarily move somewhere new to work on a big-name project.
Working local is strategic and ambitious. It might involve crashing on a friend’s couch or buying a plane ticket just days before arriving on set. But it’s also about meshing into any environment.
From those principles, Local Girl Productions found inspiration for our name and our grassroots production method.
Issa spent over twenty years building a network of personal contacts in creative industries throughout the U.S. and Europe. And we’re keeping an eye on emerging photographers, designers and talent to connect with.
We personally know the artists that make up our creative teams. We admire their work and appreciate their individualized approaches.
We get to know our clients, genuinely understand their vision and then determine the creatives that would be the best fit.
From there, teams come together organically.
You’ll be surprised when, considering all the hard work and detailed planning that went into them, you see how natural the final product looks.
